Slow down. Iow many times have you asked yourself this question? Why am I working harder when I have all these things that were supposed to make my life easier? It’s a good question. Even though many of us have computers, fax machines, cellphones and other technologically advanced devices that require less physical labor, we’re actually working harder and longer than we were before. Curtail your work hours and stop working weekends and late evenings. Turn off your cellphone, walk away from your computer and take some time for yourself. Go for a walk or engage in some physical form of exercise. Eliminating stressful distractions will help improve your health and possibly even your longevity. Give it a try.
