Cardio Fit: Quick Feet to Fitness – Three Cone Drill

It’s been said in sports and recreational activities that it comes down to footwork and fitness that separate winners from competitors. I’ve often commented to my athletes and, in interviews, that your feet can get you into trouble during the game. They are also the solution to getting out of trouble – with proper training.

Three Cone Drill:
Set up three cones or markers in a triangle two feet apart. Start at the mid-point of the base of the triangle and attempt to quick-step around each cone in a clockwise manner – without hitting the marker. Repeat in a counterclockwise fashion.
